Speaker Placement

I have a small room that I use for my listening. 10'x10'. Should I still keep my speakers one foot away from the wall for best sound quality? It seems like they would kind of in the middle of the room...

Re: Speaker Placement

Not sure why this is posted in the amps section, but yeah...for best sound quality, you need to put your speakers a foot away from the wall. If that is too much, no big deal, but the more room you can give them the better.

Re: Speaker Placement

If you can manage it, it's best to get your speakers away form the wall, but it doesn't really affect the sound too negatively if they are nearer to the wall. It would be better to focus on making sure they are balanced and positioned toward your listening seating.

Wally945 is right on with his reply! That's the approach most of our customers take, too.
